The view coming into the resort is an outstanding one of Seneca Lake and it just keeps getting better. The newly painted cabins are fabulous; we stayed in #19 and it was beautifully clean, comfortable and spacious. We didn't need the hair dryer, or the iron (and ironing board), but was nice to know they were available. We did take advantage of the in-room coffee maker and fridge. After dinner we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit chatting with the owners and other guests. Continental breakfast the following morning was over the top. Beautiful!

Room tip: Motel rooms all have lake views; some cabins have beautiful babbling creek in back.

My daughter and I booked a lakeview room for 2 days based on other TripAdvisor reviews and we have no regrets. Our view of Seneca Lake was amazing as was our stay. Property was beautiful, well maintained with a cozy feel to it. Breakfast was just right. There were 2 different kinds of cereal, bread, bagels, oatmeal, etc. Our room was a nice size with a gorgeous view, fridge & microwave. Town is only 3 miles away and a straight run. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Lakeside Resort.

My friends and I stayed here for one night August 22nd. Very clean room comfortable beds, microwave fridge and coffee maker. . I have booked a room Labor Day for my Husband and myself. They have a campfire at night, beautiful view of Seneca Lake. You can hike to a waterfall. Had a continental breakfast. They have cabins, a lodge and a motel. One of the lodge rooms has a sun porch with a nice view of the lake

Went for a girl's weekend and the three of us stayed in a cabin at this resort. The room was spacious enough for 3 women, clean and well equipped. Lakeside Resort is conveniently located and has a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. There is a nightly bonfire (weather permitting) allowing us to visit with other guests. Lodging includes breakfast which included plenty of options. Always nice to stay at a motel that has its own personal charm.

We stayed in Room #3 in the house. The room was 12' x 9'. Bathroom 7' x 5'. Tight conditions, no storage space. Very clean! All amenities worked fine; AC, TV, hair dryer, mini fridge, and microwave. Wireless Internet service was sporadic. Wall mounted soap dispensers a great touch with quality soap. Family atmosphere a big plus for us. The fire pit during the evening made a big impression which we enjoyed. No brewed decaf, a minus for me. We booked online just 3 hours before arriving. Overall, other than the small room, we'd rate them an 8. It's not a fancy place if that's what you're looking for, but friendly, peaceful, and clean. We felt comfortable.

Room tip: Make sure of room size before booking.
