Stayed for 2 sunny weeks in October. Group of 6 adults. Well designed, maintained and equipped. Enjoyed many, many drinks and meals from very well equipped kitchen, enjoying distance sea and mountain views. Balcony was well equipped with directors chairs, table and loungers. Closer up was an olive grove with goats and sheep. Anfandou beach, village and golf course we're all less than 5 min drive away. Faliraki was 10 mins. Car is required. wifi was free.
Lovely big gardens provided us with lemons and oranges, lots if oranges. And new gardening ideas for when I got home.
Sue the great Aussie/ Greek owner bent over backwards to help us, advise us and entertain us, loved you for that Sue, thanks.
We had a very pleasant stay in the Rose of Rhodes. The house is very nice and was perfectly suited to our family (2 adults and 4 children between 11 and 17). It is nicely located close to Rhodes city and the sites of interest in the north of the island. A car is required though as the house is a little off the beaten tracks. The only negative was the proximity to the motorway which generated a little bit of noise, but not enough to be a problem. Overall, a place I would strongly recommend. A last note concerning the niceness of the owner, Sue, who dealt very well with our logistical requests.
