We travelled to Capri from Sorrento and got straight onto the boat next to us for the grotto, 18 euros each. You then arrive at the front and get into a rowing boat and pay 10 euros each for entrance. The entrance is about 75 cm high, it was nearing high tide! When we attempted to get out of the cave we got hit by two huge waves and literally soaked head to toe, be warned. The grotto is beautiful but you are literally in for 5 mins. The tower of the boat also expects a tip. Very expensive but depends on how much you want to see a beautiful grotto.
