Description: Catalunya and Aragon are renowned for traditional cured meats, cheeses, game, wild mushrooms, truffles, fine wines, fish and seafood. The El Visco Restaurant menu reflects our passion for authentic regional flavours using first class ingredients, many fresh from our own land, accompanied by superb wines from the region’s vineyards. Guests can enjoy gourmet meals in our elegant dining room with its open fire, or under the stars on our terrace restaurant, scented by night blooms. With a desire to live with the rhythms of nature, we offer guests an experience of rural luxury, where food is measured in metres not miles. Authentic Slow Food. Our thriving certified organic farm features almond groves, cereal fields and over 2000 olive trees, producing extra virgin olive oil for our restaurant and for guests to buy. In addition, our extensive vegetable plot yields an abundance of fresh produce for our daily menu.

We did not stay at this hotel, but we celebrated my daughter's 15th birthday here. What a beautiful place. Service was impeccable and we loved everything we ordered. I am a vegetarian and the chef prepared a special entree for me....delicious. Only half of the tables were full in mid-August, so it was very serene. We did make a reservation in advance and our waiter prepared a special birthday dessert for our daughter. Total bill for four people was $250, which we felt was quite reasonable. A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you!

When we were there there was only another couple and the food was very good. They have their own organic garden for vegetables and countless olive, almond and fig trees. Their chefs were a married couple that had just finished an internship at El Celler de Can Roca. One could go to the kitchen and watch them cook. The breakfasts were served in a comunal table in the kitchen.

The road to the restaurant (and hotel) is a 5 km drive on a sandy road, but the reward is worth it, a wonderfull and charming hotel in the middle of nowhere. The food was excellent (50€ for a 5 course meal) and we drank the best white wine ever in Spain. The staff was extremely friendly and gave sufficient info on the food and wine. All the food is organic and comes from the area. We also got a little tour around the estate at the and. The hotel also seems realy nice. I would certainly recommend this restaurant!

Torre del Visco is unusual and sophisticated. So is its restaurant. The dinner consists of a fixed price menu degustation that includes 5 items that vary with the season. This time included a nice seared foie gras, a melon-based gazpacho, grilled calamari with their local tepenade, duck magret and a choice among three desserts, one of us chose the ice cream another the outstandings selection of regional cheeses. The wine options, as expected, was very good and, surprisingly, with a good range of pricing. Their freshly home baked bread rises the expectations another notch. The service was extremely competent, friendly and efficient. Enjoying the good weather, dinner was served in the terraces with well decorated tables matching the pleasantnes of Michelin starred restaurants.

We ate on the terrace overlooking the beautiful valley. Everything was magical, the food outstanding. The only issue was the huge Pyrenees mountain dog (hotel dog) that cocked his leg up near us & left a huge puddle of something that didn't look great. incredible experience overall
