Our initial drive in Exmouth was slightly disappointing as so many people had recommended the place, then driving to the caravan park proven to be too far and out of the way.
Getting there later in the day noticed they had a cafe only to be told "only open 2 days per week"- why leave the sign out we ask?
Staff were friendly although particulary vague about good beach fishing spots, also questioned about spear fishing( since they sold spears) and they had no idea and instead referred us to the map...
Got into the cabin from the outside it looks ideal beach chalet, inside it was clear it was rundown, over-run with spiders & beach sand all through( why is it if it were cleaned)?
Walking through, the bed had it's wheels taken off from the base and noticed obvious "MOULD", then into the toilet area "More spiders" and half a toilet roll?
One other obvious thing we'd noticed was the amount of rules applied and costs you'll pay ranging from $75.00- $200.00---obviously taking your kids would be definitely stressful.
The location was handy to visit the Lighthouse, and Cape Range NP otherwise HOT TIP; stay in town and go for a day drive!!!
