From our initial interaction with Nadja and Eske via email and the phone to book in our package deal, we felt assured that it would be a pleasant visit.
My husband and I decided to go with a package that included airport transfer, car hire, 5nights accomodation, breakfast and a whaleshark tour. It also included snorkling gear if needed, but we have our own.
Axel was waiting for us at the airport when we landed and filled us in on many interesting facts on route to Europcar to collect our hire car, he also phoned his wife Eske to make sure our room would be ready for our arrival, as we landed at 7.20am, which is earlier than the usual check in, and of course they made sure we were looked after.
Upon arrival, Eske gave us a map of the area and circled the best beaches for snorkling etc. which we referred to during our stay. We were happy to observe the interesting surroundings of the Naval base (it's not every day you can stay at a Governmental Naval base) and we loved the nice gesture of a whaleshark poster as a gift, which was placed in the room for us to take home.
The next morning it was time for our whaleshark tour, but not before breakfast! There is a nice selection to fill up on to keep you satisfied until lunch: multiple types of bread and condiments, mixed fruit salad, yogurt, a selection of cereals, apple and orange juice and tea or coffee. We ate breakfast here 3 mornings of the 5 we stayed (the other days we left early in the morning to make the most of our day) Breakfast is served from 7am-9am. If you need to eat outside these hours, there are facilities in the room to do so (fridge, microwave oven, hot plates etc) we made the most of this by cooking some evenings instead of always eating out (also as a side note, we loved that shopping in Exmouth is plastic bag free, and we were able to recycle our carrier boxes at Sea Breeze after stocking up the fridge)
On our second day we were informed that the wifi would not be working for a few days as the line had been cut by people digging a trench nearby, but this was not an issue at all. In fact, it was a wonderful escape away from the rat race of daily life and quite nice to be disconnected from social media to live in the moment. I guess, if you were staying there on a business trip this may have caused issues, but that's not why we were there, and I can't imagine many other visitors to the area being there for that purpose either, so "when in Rome.." just enjoy the moment and look around!
The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well, my husband also loved lazing about on the lounger in the room which was suuuper comfy! Another cool feature in the room was the presence of the original features, like the radio intercom to call the men to duty and the fact that the switches on the walls are upside down as they came from America, just nice quirky features that make a place memorable! The photos on the website represent the room exactly as they are, which sometimes is not the case with hotels, but you can rest assured they are exactly as presented online.
The staff are absolutely wonderful and happy to share their local advice and knowledge, we really feel like we made the most of our trip with thanks to their advice on what to see and do. Axel is a free-diver/photographer and it was lovely chatting with him so passionately about the ocean and marine life in Ningaloo!
We would 100% recommend staying here for a nice and relaxed escape away! We also wish the owners the best of luck for their new venture to Tonga in 2018!

Thank you for the kind words, your time and the detail in your review. It hit the spot! After challenges like the loss of all our phone, fax and internet lines and the town struggling with the general internet service at peak times, your words are extremely appreciated!
We are doing our best and agree with your review completely. However not always can we fulfill our guests expectations like in your case, which highlights the importance and need to spend a bit of time on research before booking. Our packages offer the best value, service for your money without compromising any quality or safety. Our personal service is our advantage and if people allow us to take care of them, they have a great time.
Again, your review boosted the team spirit, with only 5 month to go we are now in the final stages of our business. Our focus will be on keeping our guests as happy it can be and sharing as much of our local information as possible.
All the very best and we may see us again in Tonga?
Kind and sunny regards
Axel and team

Was booked into the hotel through my company for a buisness trip. The location is mildly inconvenient being out of town, which I'm sure was not realised by the travel team.

My major complaint is that the 'free wireless internet' is so slow that I cannot get any work done at all in the evenings. In fact it is so slow I can't open a single webpage. I spoke to reception but was told that yes it can get slow. I was told perhaps try an internet cafe in town. This was in good faith but not helpful to me.

Cannot recommend for anyone on buisness

Thank you very much for your review and we are sad to hear that the slow
internet spoilt your entire stay.

We would like to highlight that our internet is good most of the times, however
sometimes it is very slow and patchy, as it all depends on how many people are
using the internet at the same time and also if someone downloads any heavy
files or watches Netflix. Not long ago, Perth residents using Netflix managed to
slow down the internet speed of the entire Perth region, so unfortunately it can
get challenging with today’s technology and it is particularly challenging in
remote areas such as Exmouth.

Due to that we decided a very long time ago to make our internet service
available for free to make up for the inconsistencies.

We encourage you to read other Tripadvisor reviews from other accommodation
providers here in town, and you will see that they are all struggling with the
internet just like we do from time to time. Some places even charge you for the
internet, yet it is still extremely slow.

On a side note, we have tried to upgrade our internet service to a second DSL
Telstra line, to share & divide the load up, however we have been on a waiting
list for the past 6 years. In the meantime we have tried to access any other
possibility to speed up the internet without success (apparently it’s our
location) and sometimes we even struggle here at reception to run and maintain
our business.

Unfortunately it lies totally outside our circle of influence and yes we
understand that travellers have high expectations when it comes to internet
services (especially when travelling for business), unfortunately remote areas
are left far behind with today’s infrastructure and technology advances.
Therefore in the future when travelling to remote areas, please ensure that you
talk to your company to ensure they support you with additional internet options
(such as a mobile phone plan/ hotspot) so you can meet your work demands. We
suggested the local internet café to you as it has one of the fastest internet
connection all around town due to their convenient location and our Manager
thought that this would be of help to you.

We wish you all the best for your future travels.

We spent five nights at the Sea Breeze. Very plain from the outside but the rooms were clean and well fitted out with everything needed to self cater. It is 5 km north of Exmouth but that was not an issue, only a short drive to the restaurants and shops. WiFi was terrible- but only slightly better elsewhere else in town- a regional issue!

Thank you very much for your feedback and great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Exmouth & the National Park is very spread out and no matter where you stay a car hire is very important, thanks again for pointing out our location.

We wish you safe travels.

This resort is 5kms out of town and doesnt look much on the outside but it has an intersting history and the rooms are extremely well fitted out and comfortable. The continental breakfast was kively and the coffees were great and available all day. The owners are very friendly and informative and really helped us when we were trying to decide what to do in the area. The barbeque area was a nice place to sit and enjoy a casual meal with friends. It was great value for money and Alex picked up us from the airport and took us back again at the end of our visit. I wiild recommend a hire car for your stay so you have access to the local shops and eateries as well as the tourist sights.

Thank you very much for your review and for highlighting again the importance of a car hire. Public transports are very limited here and the National Park is very spread out. We love to hear you enjoyed the personal service and a great cup of coffee in the morning.

Safe travels,

We spent four nights at the Seabreeze, which we found very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and very comfy, and well equipped with all the necessary stuff to self-cater. Wifi was slow - but that was true of all of Exmouth, and was adequate for checking emails and doing the essentials. Lovely pool and visits by a family of emus to complete the experience.
Seabreeze does serve continental breakfasts and coffee, but no other food service - on the other hand, it is only a short drive into Exmouth for shops and restaurants, and they offer a restaurant shuttle service.
Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay with great service.
