Owner description: Experience wonder with us! Each day we have the privilege of taking guests from all over the world out to swim with the amazing whalesharks, and or humpback whales and or mant rays, and experience the marine wonderland that is the Ningaloo Reef. We are all about whaleshark tours the way they are meant to be - safe, fun, full of wonder and truly memorable. Our aim is simple : to give each and every one of our customers one of the best tours they have ever been on. Because we own and operate our own spotter plane to find you whalesharks to swim with, for the last 10 years our guests have spent longer actually swimming with a whaleshark than guests on any other tour. (And isn't that why you go on a whaleshark tour in the first place?)

Swimming with the whale sharks was incredible to begin with but the crew on this boat made the day even better. They were such a fun, high energy group and were also very caring towards the people who were a bit sea sick. It was also fantastic that there is a dedicated spotter plane for this boat so when the whale sharks are found you don't have to share them with other boats. I'd recommend getting the photos too!

Awesome crew to achieve a dream of ours of swimming with whales sharks. There guys have their own spotter plane which gave us the advantage on the day and we got a whale shark asap. Had 3 dives in and out with the shark. Amazing experience. They also only allow 10 at any time so the shark can freely go about his journey and no over crowding. All companies do this at Exmouth as a rule. Not like other places in the world where you see less shark and more people.

Whole crew great from start to finish, super friendly and professional. They were all so enthusiastic in their roles and made sure we all had a great time in and out of the water. They succeeded in delivering over and above our expectations. They took care of some who were feeling a bit seedy from sea sickness.
All credit to photographer Sharnie who had total committment to getting the best shots of us in the water with the whale shark, and the rest of the crew making sure we made it in and out of the water safely.
Great job guys and many thanks for a life changing experience.
Kevin and Jacqui from Darwin

There are seemingly many tours to visit the whale sharks in this area so I can’t tell you if this is the best one as that would be unfair on the others. But it was from our point of view quite excellent and can highly recommend. In fact just book these guys!

The whole thing is run with military precision coupled with great humour from the fabulous crew. You get picked up from where you are staying and others join the bus along the way. A nice little icebreaker wakes people up and makes the journey (about 45 mins) a bit quicker. You soon realise this isn’t just some little money making tourist trap. The crew are genuinely passionate about the area and the animals and it is infectious. Ecotourism at its best.

The morning starts with various briefings (Dave is great) and then a snorkel over the coral which is incredible and for us, whilst the coral not as colourful as the Great Barrier Reef, much more accessible and you are so close to the beautiful marine life.

Then you are taken to the outer reef to see the big ticket item of the day. A plane hovers through the sky and is communicating with the skipper to take you to the right spot. We were not disappointed. We did five swims and saw the whale sharks each time and got to swim with them very clearly on the last three. Completely mesmerising, my husband claimed it to be his best experience of seeing wild animals in his life. All the time there is a photographer not only their for your own pic to show to others but also to tag these beautiful creatures for the purpose of tracking them for environmental purposes. You get one pic to choose from and Sian (photographer) was fantastic and we had VIP bands (only $40 extra) which meant we got to take home the whole lot including some brilliant ones of the whale shark and some less flattering ones of my beer belly! Do do this you won’t regret it.

Lunch is excellent. Served on board, a choice of salads, cold cuts and roast chicken , with fresh bread and other picksies. Plenty for all and after a morning in the water we were all starving.

After lunch we got to free snorkel around in an area with less current and we were feeling quite professional by now!! Spotted a very large sting ray as well as more gorgeous fish and my new favourite thing, coral.
During the day we also saw a large turtle and 4 bottlenose dolphins. Admittedly the crew said we had near on perfect conditions.

The crew are a well oiled machine having worked together in various guises all over the world and they work very very hard. You feel safe and they do all they can to make sure you get the most out of it.

The day concludes with a glass of fizz as you head back to the jetty. Much needed. So much so that Sian, Dave, Zach, Scott and Daphne (plus two lovely apprentices ) we hope you get a nice cold beer on us tonight!

What an amazing day !! Another item checked off the bucket list. Very professional staff, relaxed atmosphere, everything supplied , staff very attentive to individual needs . Highly recommend this experience, it will not disappoint. Just a heads up on the swimming , although floatation is proved you will enjoy it more if you are a competent swimmer, do a little training before you go.
