Anniversary weekend getaway, Langdon House was perfect. Quiet and peaceful but close to everything in Beaufort. Lizzet is a great hostess, breakfasts were flexible and so good. Wish we could have stayed longer, we'll be back.

We had another excellent stay with Lizzet at the lovely Langdon house . She is such a gracious host, and the Inn itself, such a marvel. We have always had a wonderful stay at this venue , and highly recommend it to our close friends.

Room Tip: The shower in the master was an adventure in itself. You could position water to hit you in an almos...

Went to Beaufort for a wedding and wanted to be in town. This B&B was spacious and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent for 3 days in a row. Located within easy walking distance of shopping and dining. Parking for guests. Comfortable porches downstairs and upstairs. We stayed in an upstairs bedroom which was large and had a very nice bathroom with shower. We highly recommend this B&B.

My wife and I went down to Beaufort, NC for the weekend and we were lucky enough to get to stay at the Langdon House. It is in the heart of Beaufort, just one block off of Front Street (the main drag), so you are conveniently located in the center of town without being directly in the main path of the tourists. Just one block back made a nice difference, even though it is a quiet town, when you sit on her large porch and rock in the chairs. The rooms are nice, and the decorations throughout the house were also quite well done.

Lizzet is an amazing host! She is very friend, and knows the town inside and out, so she can give you great suggestions for whatever it is you would like to do. Also, my wife is gluten free, and she had all gluten free foods for her to eat at no extra charge. She serves breakfast for free when you stay with her, and by breakfast, I mean a FULL breakfast! She is a very talented chef and has a large kitchen where she starts you off with a beautifully arrayed fruit tray, and then moves you on to a beautiful Mexican breakfast. Even the aesthetics of how the food is presented are wonderful! The food is amazing, the table only seats 6, so you are with a quiet group of guests, and no one ever leaves that table hungry. She has other amenities that we didn't get to use (like free bicycles), but we will be back in the fall and give them a try.

We could not recommend this place more highly if you are going to stay in Beaufort!

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice! There are only a few, but you don't have to worry about which one you...

We decided to visit Beaufort on our anniversary not realizing that it would be hard to find a room. Luckily we found this charming B&B. The location is within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops along the waterfront. Lizzet makes you feel right at home. She gave us some great restaurants to visit and the breakfast that she served us was amazing. We will definitely visit again.

Beaufort, NC is a gem undiscovered by "big" tourism. It has great services, beautiful natural environment and a very nice maritime museum. Add fine dining and a warm, genuine southern welcome and you really couldn't ask for a finer vacation spot for R&R.

During our visit we were very lucky to stay at the Langdon House Bed and Breakfast. Built in the 18th century and steeped in history, our room still boasted modern conveniences, including a comfy queen sized bed, a full bath and an in-room refrigerator. It was also beautifully decorated, with respect for both the history of the place and the comfort of the guests.

We chose to have breakfast with our fellow guests and were so glad that we did. While our gracious hostess Lisette created her breakfast magic, the conversation was lively and entertaining. Breakfasts began with fresh fruit followed by a delicious cooked breakfast. Lisette is a talented cook and very attentive to the preferences and dietary restrictions of her guests.

We totally enjoyed our late season stay at the Langdon House B&B. Our heartfelt thanks to our hostess for sharing her home with us, and many thanks to David for his insight into the area and local history. We had a lovely time and look forward to our next visit.
