My family of four stayed two nights at the Yurt village. I had read about this place in Our State magazine and was intrigued to give it a try. The area is beautiful and the yurt village quaint. We booked the waterfall yurt, and, while I had expected a larger waterfall, we were pleased with the trickling sound of water throughout our stay. In all, the yurt was clean, but it could have used a larger space heater, especially our first night when temperatures dipped below freezing. The shower house was also clean and it was a nice surprise to sit on a warm toilet in early hours of the morning!
In all, we would return, but most likely in slightly warmer temperatures.

Room Tip: check out the map and location of the yurt before deciding which one to choose

Stayed here with my husband David as part of birthday weekend trip. Always wanted to stay in a yurt. When we arrived evening of October 27 lights we on. Very welcoming. We unpacked our things to the yurt and became familiar with the site. Great amenities. Laundry room with sink to wash dishes(stuff provided). Showers were individual with sink, toilet and shower. Plenty of hooks and bars for towels and shower kit as well as clothes. Each yurt has table and chairs on deck, fire ring below. Grills are available if you wish to grill out. Quiet and peaceful. No one was loud at night. Very cool find and would stay again. Linens and towels provided.

My son and I have periodically returned to the Falling Waters Yurts in Nantahala now for over ten years, and we are always so glad to be there, and sad to leave! It is quiet and peaceful and well maintained. We really feel "away", but Bryson City, with numerous shops and restaurants is just a short drive away.

The Yurts themselves are clean and comfortable, with nice amenities, and the bathhouse is easily accessible. We love sitting out on the private deck, staring into the Milky Way. A couple of years ago we also did the zip line adventure which is located on the same property, and it was a blast. This is the way glamping should be!

We had an amazing time! The Yert was clean and perfect! We took the trail to the waterfall, so peaceful just to sit on the deck and listen to the water fall. Really liked the individual bathrooms in the bath house! We hope to go back and rent 8. Very relaxing trip!

A group of about 20 of us have been coming to the yurt village for the past few years. This year we booked too late and could not get enough yurts to accommodate our group. We booked the group lodge - without knowing much about it at all other than passing by it on the dirt road to the yurts. What a surprise! The group lodge was absolutely fantastic. Each room is separated with its own entry way, etc. much like a strip motel. The rooms were very clean (although rustic) but had lights, fans, shower, toilet and either one or two sinks. We booked the kitchen as well which was fantastic. It was pretty decently stocked with pots and pans plus miscellaneous items that other groups had "donated" to the kitchen. Absolutely plenty of room for all 20 of us. We made good use of the outside charcoal grill and the fire pit. Will DEFINATELY book again!
