This historic building is worth a visit just to see the inside of the house and walk around outside. There are regular exhibits of artwork, often by local and regional artists. I haven't been to an event there, but I have exhibited art and there is a caveat to be able to leave open space for events. It's a very popular spot for North Carolina weddings - particularly beautiful in spring.

The egg hunt at the Horace Williams house is a lot of fun for little kids. It is free and there are lots of fun games for the kids to play once they finish hunting for eggs.

This beautiful house on Franklin St. brilliantly showcases Chapel Hill's historic background by providing a quaint and charming experience for its visitors. The house itself is a town landmark. I visited for just under an hour and I learned so much! Truly a must see for history buffs!!

A big rambling house that seems to have belonged to a well-to-do professor of philosophy. Good venue for weddings.

Home of the Chapel Hill Preservation Society. Used to be home of the annual Cupcake Festival. People would come from all over to experience it. Great venue for weddings and other events. A beautiful setting in a beautiful part of Chapel Hill.
