From the outside, it seemed like a run down and small restaurant. However, inside, it is adequately sized and nicely decored.
I think he was the manager, he correctly suggested a right sized portion of pad thai and tom yum soup for me so I appreciate that.
The soup was really authentic - sour and spicy with fresh juicy shrimps. Actually, once the soup has cooled down, the spiciness became more tolerable.
The pad thai was a lunch portion - very sizeable and I almost couldn't finish it. Again, juicy shrimps and fresh beansprouts with shredded carrots were added.
The dish is nicely cooked. However, it wasn't very authentic. It seemed like ketchup was used to make the dish sour and sweet. Also, the egg didn't seemed to be fried under extremely high wok heat.
Overall I am grateful to find this Thai restaurant. I would like to go back there to try other dishes.
