We had an unexpected stay here for nearly a week when hurricane Irma announced her presence to south Florida. The hotel staff were amazing. Our nerves were frayed when we arrived, not sure what we would be going home to. The staff helped us so much. They found a pack and play at a nearby sister hotel and had it brought over, and they helped us figure out our options for staying longer if we needed to. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the pet area. They did not have complimentary bags for pet waste that many residence inns do, and a number of travelers were not cleaning up after pets.

Last minute decision for a birthday stay in Concord Mills.....called Gregg at this Residence Inn ,he handled everything for us plus gave us an Excellent upgrade!Thanks Gregg and Shelby..wonderful Staff.Nice property, near Concrord Mills mall,nice rooms,beds ,indoor pool,gym and great complimentary breakfast. Fantastic stay,definitely Will be Back!!

It's never a pleasant experience to be in the path of a Category 5 hurricane. When we got the weather forecast on Sunday, September, 3, we began making plans for us as well as our daughter, her husband, 2 toddlers and 3 dogs to evacuate to Charlotte, NC thinking that would be far enough. Shelby and Xavier at the Residence Inn in Concord were so very kind as we went through the process. They helped us decide what we needed as well as allowing us to extend the cancellation date to as late as Saturday at 4:00 which was our first date to check in. I am writing this as the NHC has just forecast tropical force winds in Savannah as the storm makes its way into our city. I am writing this due to the excellent customer service we received and the willingness of the company to be flexible in this very stressful time....Kudos to Shelby, Xavier, and the entire Marriott corporation!!!

So many negatives it's difficult to begin. The toilet seat is wood and worn out, like something in an old outhouse. Stains on the couch, so we didn't sit there. In the kitchen area, the small bottle of dish detergent was half used, and the sponge was used. A used stained sponge, ugh! The lamp shade is falling apart. This place was like a seedy fourth rate motel and not up to Marriott standards.

The carpet was stained in our room. The furniture is old and a chair has the arm rest and head rest torn. The people working at the hotel were great though. A lady brought 16 head of kids to the pool which was small and proceeded to run everyone off. One kid pulled his pants off within a minute and two kids urinated in the pool. The breakfast was not good. The best thing might've been the eggs. The turkey sausage was rubbery and not much taste. Not much food to desire. Overall it was very poor for being a Marriott.
