This is one of our favorite hibachi and sushi places in Durham. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the food is always prepared well and exactly to order. They feature 50% off on all their sushi rolls, so you can get a nice assortment without breaking the bank.

Wonderful hibachi - at the grill or at your table - plus some of the best sushi around. All sushi is 50% off menu prices, so you can really enjoy the food without busting your budget. Great service, too.

I really enjoyed the Chef cooking the food. Very entertaining. The food could have used a little more seasoning during the cooking process. Seaweed salad was good.

We ate here when it opened and did the tableside teppaniaki dinner. That was entertaining. This time we came in on a cold, icy night to get out of the house. We grabbed a booth and ordered off their regular menu. The gyoza appetizers were good and although we have no major complaints about our entrees (salmon bento box, hibachi steak, udon soup bowl), we didn't have any raves either. One gripe I have is oriental restaurants that give you tea bags rather than loose-leaf kettles, and this was definitely a tea bag place. Young waiter was pleasant and attentive but his attempts at casual chatter was a bit awkward (asking my daughter why she chose a four-year college instead of a two-year college). We'd probably come back at some point but not as a special night out.

Just a friendly, casual, comfortable, reasonably priced restaurant with good food and service. Perhaps not perfect, but hard to beat. Love the drink and sushi specials!
