This place is the best Mexican restaurant that Fayetteville can offer. We have tried several different places and this is the best. Please note that this is an authentic Mexican Restaurant not along the lines of Taco Bell or your usual Tex-Mex food. The prices are very reasonable and its good eating. Portions are very sensible and there is a Gringo Menu which allows for a little bit of the usual Chicken Fingers, Fries and the like. They offer a wide array of beers and cocktails, incidentally we often see law enforcement eating there as well as families and College kids having a bit of fun. The location is optimal and fairly close to I-95. Contact me if you would like more information.

We were told by several locals that this is the best Mexican food in Fayetteville. I feel their pain.

Apparently there are several of these restaurants around the city. Maybe the other locations have better food.

I had the carnitas, my wife had salmon. They served chips and salsa which came in a little carafe that you poured into individual small bowls. Unfortunately the salsa was fairly blah. Chips were out of a bag. We also ordered guacamole to start, which was decent.

The carnitas were chunks of pork that tasted roasted, not deep fried in lard. Large portion, but most of it was somewhat chewy with little taste. The rice and beans that came with it added little Mexican flavor. I ordered corn tortillas and these were the usual store bought and steamed variety. The carnitas also came with a glob of gaucamole on chopped lettuce and some diced tomatos that was supposed to be "Pico de Gallo." They should be ashamed of themselves. Pico de gallo is easy to prepare even for this gringo.

My wife's salmon was a large portion and tasted good with a light sauce over it. Unfortunately it came with roasted potatoes and not rice and beans.

Atmosphere was fairly cheap with vinyl chairs. Restaurant was clean, service was fast.
