My husband & I needed a place to stay so we could attend a concert at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts. We located this hotel, which is about 4 miles from the venue, and booked a room online. First impression was very good - the lobby was spotless and the check in process was easy. Michelle (forgive me, I know her name was spelled in a more unique way) was charming and helpful. I asked for recommendations on where to eat and I received a glowing review of Caffe Rel (which was indeed excellent, review to come) as well as a list of other local dining establishments. Our king room was very comfortable and again, extremely clean. Nice Neutrogena amenities, reasonably spacious, closet with plenty of good hangers and a microwave & fridge included. Breakfast was very nice, items replenished frequently. We ended up extending our stay by one night and the breakfast items were a little different on day two, which we appreciated. It's nice to have options so you don't have to eat all carbs to start the day off. The hotel is above a barbecue restaurant, a Taco Bell and a KFC. We didn't eat any of those places but they are close by if need be. There is also an Ingles grocery store very close to the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & we would not hesitate to book this hotel again. ***Outdoor pool was closed during our stay, may want to check the website or call hotel directly if that's really important to your family.
