Rocco’s is not a high-end establishment. But if you’re stuck in a storm, watching something special on TV, pick up some food here.
We each had a calzone. They’re large, but we ate them all up. I got the special, with a few meats (sausage, pepperoni, etc.), onions, peppers, olives, mushrooms, and cheese. My friend got all-cheese. The mushrooms were canned, but the thin crust made up for that. I’ve never before encountered a calzone without a doughy crust. The meat-to-veg ratio was spot on. It had a hefty but not excessive spiciness and tang. Great takeaway.
