Very nice lodging and location, but getting run down. Minor repairs need to be made. e.g. A broken hook in the bathroom, only half the whirlpool jets or working. Still wonderful location, nice private patio, also group patio with whirlpool WARNING: they don't seem to have anything but down comforters and pillows. If you are allergic, as I am, ask first.

Thank you for your review. I am addressing your maintenance concerns right away. We do have a selection of pillows which includes memory foam, regular foam and feather down. We are happy to
Offer all or remove the ones causing your allergies. Our duvet inserts are cotton.

We sincerly hope to see you again in the future.

I felt very at home and relaxed when i stayed at the highlands inn. The whole place had a very calming effect. And the staff, especially Kevin and his wife Annette were very welcoming and made you feel right at home. The breakfast was a delight and talking with both Kevin and Annette during it made it feel like times I've have had with my grandparents. So if you are looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscapes and have lovely conversations with the staff, hit up the highlands inn. I can't wait to go back.

This was one of my first hotel trips by myself, and I have to say: This was an unforgettable experience! I had the honor to meet Kevin upon my arrival. He was amazing to talk to, helped me with finding my way around the hotel, and was an amazing presence to this hotel. As I left, I had the privilege to meet Nettie. She was so amazing to talk to and she helped me get checked out with no sweat. I really did enjoy my stay with these amazing people and I know you will too!

First off, Kevin and his wife Annette felt like Grandparents of mine that I had yet to meet. The place instantly felt like home. Breakfast always came with a warm smile from Annette and a story from Kevin about his past travels. I felt like I was living in a novel while sipping my coffee every morning. I have never felt more relaxed and as if I was staying with family in all my years of business travel as I have at the Highlands Inn Lodge with Kevin and Annette. Hoping to return again soon!

When checking in we were greeted with the warmest most genuine smiles and courteous welcome by dear Nettie who asked us how our journey was, offered us coffee or tea and made a hotel feel like "coming home". In all my years staying in hotels maybe a handful of them made me feel at home but NONE gave us the warm fuzzy feeling of being home from home than Manager Nettie and her husband Kevin. Breakfast took that to a whole other level with tips on places of interest, shops and scenic overlooks to visit. We are so impressed I'm going to call Nettie and arrange for our company Christmas holiday party long weekend there. Can't wait to see you and Kevin again loves! Bless you and thank you Xo
