Amazing view with a relaxation feeling being on top of the mountain. The trail was free of debride and easy to walk thru. Parking was convenient, even parking on the side of the road to the trail.

Long drive and narrow roads, and be prepared as we didn’t have phone service for GPS on our way down. Somehow we got turned around and drove one way up and another way down, and thought we were lost. The road did take us back down to the highway however. Highly recommended for the not so strenuous hike.

It was really pretty to see but kind of difficult to get there. The roads were extremely narrow and not paved.

Don't be put off by the road in. It's a gravel road with lots of pot holes and bumps. It's part of the experience. Once at the Max Patch parking area, trails are well marked and easy to navigate. Once at the top, you have a 360 degree view which is just awe inspiring. There are no facilities so take water, and maybe a blanket to sit on for a picnic. Good hike for all levels and great for families.

This is a great hike. Two choices of difficulty. The view from the summit is stunning. We saw a few campsites and even a couple or true mountain bikes. Early morning is best for July!
