This was our first time experiencing Eseeola. We were impressed and wow'd with the resort, from beginning to end. Eseeola is a quiet place with high standards of excellence in every facet of the resort. The rooms are country casual with ample space and access to a small outside sitting area, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day. The food was outstanding, offering a menu with plenty of variety regardless how long you stay. Staff is friendly and well trained to anticipate your needs.
When it comes to recreation, this place is hard to beat. Golf at Linville Golf Club, the 1892 Donald Ross gem, while somewhat frustrating first time you play, turned out to be very enjoyable. The fitness center is very new and top of the line when it comes the equipment and facility. All in all, we can't say enough good things about Eseeola Lodge. We only had 2 suggestions that would have made the visit even better- real maple syrup at breakfast and a timer on the tv remote control.More
