When I visited the art gallery they were displaying photography collection. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the stories behind the photos and the photographers that took the pictures.

The gallery is small but in a historic building that used to be the city "jail". The exterior of the building has been recently updated and has an "artsy" look from the street scape. Exhibits are changed frequently and provide different forms and types of art so there is something for everyone at some point during the year. Hours are convenient for visitors and there are some extended hours during city events

The Jailhouse Gallery has changing exhibits, currently showing the Whiskey Painters of America (lovely small watercolors, which are also for sale). The gallery is free and open M-F 10-4. It needs to also be open on Saturdays so that visitors and working people can get to it!
