I love the Hilton, they vary in some instances on what they offer in Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner choices but overall a comfortable, safe and clean stay. I am allergic to pets so not sure what policy or having a choice of pet free rooms similar to smoke free to ensure no more allergy outbreaks. Recommend menu for breakfast sate real eggs or powder eggs before purchase.

We were traveling home from visit with family. Booked this location for location in our trip home. Staff was great, room comfortable and clean. They welcomed our two small dogs with no problems. Will definitely stay again.

We've been snowbirds to FL for years, and stop at the Roanoke Rapids, NC Hilton Garden Inn on our return home. The first time we were there, it had recently opened. It was really nice...lovely and clean rooms, nice lobby and good service in the restaurant.

This February when we drove back home, we stayed here again. We observed that the hotel is really showing its age. The lobby is not particularly clean anymore, our room was beat up and needs to be renovated, as does the entire property. There were also several dogs in the hotel and lots of pet related stains, mostly on the hall carpets.

It's a shame, it was a great place to stop on our way home. Not anymore! Hilton standards have declined, and not just at this property.

Room Tip: If you're allergic to animals, ask for an upper floor. They mentioned they don't allow dogs on the upper floors.

We do sincerely apologize that you were unhappy with your stay. You are correct in stating that our hotel was showing wear in February. I am happy to report that as of May 1st we have completed the renovation at our property. The hotel no longer shows the stains or wear and tear that you unfortunately witnessed in February. We have revamped in all areas of our property and we would be delighted to have you see the new changes. Stayed here while traveling north for the season. We have a 65# boxer mix dog so that dictates which hotels we book. I thought this was a great value at $109 plus a $30 pet fee. We were very warmly greeted while checking in at midnight after a long day of driving. I would stay here again.

Pleasant staff, attention to details, active listeners, willing to consider special requests. Always above average service with great team work. Grits off the chain@!!! I have used this establish 7 years ago for a birthday great service then also.
