This is a relatively modern hotel (built in 1990) with ok rooms, ok food, ok staff, and ok location. I think it is the 2nd largest in Jiangmen. Do not confuse this hotel with the Palace Hotel which is slightly smaller and more recent -- and probably a bit more expensive too. There is also a 5 star hotel in Jiangmen called the "Ever Joint Hotel", not sure what it is supposed to mean.
If you play tennis bring your racket, the hotel has a couple of courts. The karaoke bar is quite nice. There is a small grocery store just beside the hotel which is convenient to buy bottled water and snacks like dried cuttlefish. There used to be an Italian restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the hotel but I couldn't find it anymore so I guess it has closed. There is a KFC though (if you like that kind of food).
Other than that it is a hotel you're likely to forget.. like Jiangmen itself.
