It is the first holiday during 10 years when we want to return in to the same house next time!!! The location is perfect!!! We have 3 children( 3,6 and 9 years old) and they love very much the pool on the 7 floor with crazy views of all Lloret beach and beautiful Mediterranean Sea and also they go every day to children outside playground!! There were a lot of children every evening!! The location of house is on the mine street, there are a lot of restaurants, pubs and bars on the street but on the 6 floor was very quit. The clubs with night life is about 1-2 km away from apartments. Inside there were all what we need for good holiday! The terrace was unreal!!!! The company which renting this property "Diamond House" was very helpful!!! There working some Russian girls but Ekaterina is the best!!! Thank you, Katia!!!! May be we will return to you!!! Marina and Ramunas.
We have enjoyed this week at Lloret de Mar and the penthouse was amazing. The Good points were : Beautiful seaview, private terace swimming pool, big space ( we liked to play cards on the card table) , functional kitchen, quiet,...
Only two bad points: creaking bed, old decoration.
The agency was perfect: very professional, lovely.
We were 6 peoples for 4 rooms ( 3 double bed and 1 single bed). They prepared the bed linen for 3 double bed but they didn't know that we want to use the 4 room so they came on the sunday (agency close) to give it to us the bed linen missing. We really appreciate.
We gonna happy to come back again to this penthouse.
We stayed in the property with extended family. First up, the location of the property is excellent. Right on the water (only separated from the beach by a road). When we arrived on Saturday we could check in right at the agency that occupies the lower part of the building. The description of the property states plainly that 1 parking spot comes with the rental, but upon asking for the location of this spot, we were told that there was no parking associated with the rental. This created a big problem (parking in Lloret is not plentiful), and it took us over an hour of searching, quite a bit of luck and and extra $140 for the week to park the car at a nearby hotel. Not a relaxing start to the vacation after driving for 15 hours to get there. Upon checking in we were told that only one set of keys would be available until the next Monday. Also pretty annoying, since we were multiple parties. Once inside the property (on the 6th floor, accessible by elevator or stairs) we realized that quite a few things were not working. The shutters in the master bedroom couldn't be opened, which made this room into a dark cave. Lots of the lights weren't working, and in general the whole place is in need of some TLC. The dishes were disgustingly dirty and all had to be washed first before using. The upper level is a huge open veranda that can be partially shaded if one figures out how to operate the broken mechanism. The pool is small but adequate. The first night we sat on this veranda to play cards and talk, but then realized that the tiles were missing the caulking, which had allowed water to get underneath. Mosquitoes had used these spaces then as a perfect breeding ground and would have eaten us alive if we hadn't quickly fled downstairs. The lower level has a smaller balcony that we used from then on. One day the elevator broke, but it was fixed quickly.
I contacted the owner about the misleading parking spot information, but all I got was a 5% discount on a future booking of the property (which we won't be taking advantage of).
Overall, this is probably not a property for families, but rather a party place for young people.
