This was the second time that we have stayed at the Mango Tree. It is a well appointed 3 star motel located at the beach which a good tapas bar/restaurant next door.
We were in room 1 which has a queen sized bed, single bed and bunks. The kitchenette has a basic electric stove etc. The shower is good with plenty of hot water.
There is not a provided breakfast, so if you decide to stay there, either bring your own or find somewhere in town.
We had a terrible nights sleep, actually no sleep. The fridge motor ran all night ensuring that sleep was impossible. On raising the subject with the staff member, was told that yes, we know about it but the owner has not bothered to fix the problem.
Probably, other rooms are OK hence my 3 star recommendation. If you do stay there and room one is the option, it might be a good idea to ask about the fridge.

Room Tip: Check out the fridge for excess noise

We are sorry you did not have a pleasant stay with us this time. The fridge problem has been rectified since bringing it to our attention and for future reference there are several blankets and extra pillows in the large cupboard/wardrobe, as we have found that guests prefer to add a blanket if required.

This was a return visit for us to the Mango Tree Motel. It is typical of the older motels with reasonably spacious rooms and fully functional kitchen facilities to self-cater if you wish. It is in a great location and walking distance from the shops, with a Tapas bar adjoining it. The rooms are clean and bathroom has a separate toilet which is a good thing. This is good value for money in a fairly expensive area.

Decide to visit here for a night, thinking of future trips if we liked the town. Great accommodation next to beach and shops. Ideal room with mini kitchen facilities, nice outdoor setting and good nights sleep in quiet surrounds. We'll be back, friendly locals.

My husband and I stayed he one night.
It was a pleasant surprise.
It's a very modest looking motel however the bed was very comfortable.
The pillows were pretty good compared to everywhere else we stayed. They didn't turn into a thin layer of nothing when laid on.
The room was clean and had a small kitchenette with a microwave which was extremely useful.
Parking is outside the door.
There is also free WiFi.
The beach was very close by as well.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.
