Well this was a shock to the system. Here I booked the Hotel/ motel opposite the ocean and all windows face inwards to the courtyards. The property is very tired although clean, all except the bath towels each and everyone was very grey.. not very pleasant to dry with!!! And why a struggle to find the pillows on the bed.. wrapped tightly in the bedspread ...
In an unusual situation their large restaurant was closed on Sunday night but we could have any meals from its very large menu with room service.
We went out to eat .But then breakfast was served in the restaurant I had to laugh when I asked for French Toast and was told .. we are out of french toast, cheese and something else .....The last time i made french toast it used ordinary bread and eggs.. so we asked the waitress to ask why was it out of stock. The reply came because its Monday morning and we are out of a lot of food....so a continental breakfast was all I could have which was ok, but so eager offerings ... my gosh if you go overseas and pay not less than they charge in our motels you get an amazing variety of food for Continental I can see this Motel/ hotel is used a lot by tradies working near by and they probably go for the big breakfast There was only a few pieces of fresh fruit, only 1 type of yoghurt ... can I go on?? The staff were very pleasant but this property needs to be brought back into the current century

Room Tip: Away from the kids play equipment and pool

Centrally located, this motel is comfortable, clean and on the foreshore... I love that they still include a biscuit to have with your coffee when so many have cut this 'cost'. Walking distance to everything in town. The best place in Esperance for our money.

Room was nice and clean, with large screen, foxtel and free wifi (the wifi was fast which was good for my work. They had room service from the inhouse restaurant. Very prompt service and excellent meals. Situated close to the shore and walking distance to the center of town.

Would stay again

Comfortable hotel room. Room service was quick and food was delicious! Staff were very welcoming and professional. Close to the water for those on holidays to enjoy. Walking distance to the shops so good location. Very pleasant stay.

By comparison with other comparable motels stayed at in our WA the room was approximately $25 more. The room was rated as deluxe which probably is their excuse for charging the $158 per night. The receptionist did tell us that the rooms in our wing were originally standard level. Our biggest issues were the lack of natural lighting as the only windows were adjacent to a narrow covered walk way, and the drapes needed to be drawn for privacy. Also, the room (No.13) was only metres away from the coach parking bay. Hence each morning we were woken at 6.45 am by a large diesel motor being started and left running for 15 minutes. I sadly had the cheek of walking into the restaurant for breakfast at 9.31am to be told that they had just closed. No beg-pardons, it was quite a blunt response. I mentioned these issues with the receptionist who response was that it was our fault because we should have asked at the start for a room change, but the point is this should not be necessary. She also said in effect that because we were staying only two nights the room was appropriate. If you stay three or four nights you get a better deal.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from west facing wing. Too close to coach parking bay. Also some rooms have very little natural lighting.
