Dundas Rocks and Lone Grave
Reviewed February 8, 2017 via mobile

A fascinating group of rock formations, glad we took the time to wander off the track and view these boulders on the way to explore the dundas township site. Family loved climbing amongst them, but make sure you are dressed with leg protection from sticks and grasses, its.an outback spot with no set tracks.

Spent a full day touring around Norseman. The heritage trails are inspiring. Picnic at Dundas Rocks, only company an indignant little lizard rushing around comically, on two legs. How's the serenity? Pretty darn good. Here's the lone grave of young James Dennis, he must have been a well liked guy cause his mates went to some effort to make sure he was not forgotten.

South of Noresman at the 18 KM mark you will find a turn off to Dundas and the Dundas Rocks. At one 1 KM on a red sand track you will see a small salt lake on the right and the rocks are to the left. They are a series of granite boulders in the trees. Go another half a kilometer and you will find the site of the old town of Dundas but take care as there are many tracks and few signs.

Must be self sufficient if you want to camp here but what a lovely spot. What a great spot to enjoy the history. Far enough from the highway to enjoy. Worth a look!
