Who would think that you would find a dandy of a little Thai restaurant wedged up in this back hills hick town? Now it lacks the sophistication of a big city restaurant. And that adds to its authenticity in my opinion. Go for it! It is easily the best restaurant choice, regardless of cuisine, for miles around!

Good variety of selections, all the popular items, all prepared well and to your liking. What else could you want in an area that, according to one of the locals when asked where the recycle plant was...and replied: "you ain't from 'round here...are 'ya."......."We don't much go in for r-cyclin' 'round here...."

Food was very good. Tried several items. Sushi was closed the night I went. I enjoyed my dinner and service was prompt.

This simple restaurant has wonderful Thai food. The service is wonderful and the prices are adequate. The atmosphere is fine for the type of food.

Been coming here for years and used to love the Panang Curry at Thai Peppers. The flavor was superb with the unique, delicious flavor of Galangal or Thai ginger. Now, you can't even taste the Galangal, they are using so much peanut flavoring. It's just awful. Tastes like a bowl of Skippy. What was an aromatic peachy pink sauce is now dark beige reeking of Jif Crunchy. I have asked Ming if they have changed recipes - that Panang Curry should not taste like peanut butter, and she said she'd tell them in the kitchen. When I ordered it last night, I specifically asked Mark to tell them light on the peanut, but our came the same peanut butter soup with vegetables. Too bad that a once fantastic curry there has been ruined.

If you like Thai food, this is a good place to go. A favorite for locals also. The price is great, service is great, and they are consistent in the menu and presentation and taste. If you are walking around Southport and it's lunch or dinner time and you enjoy Thai food, or if you have never tried it, go on in. I do not believe you will be disappointed.
