It's located in the center of town south of the Capitol. Rooms and bathrooms are small but tastefully decorated. Iron was awful. You should plan to take your luggage to room before parking because it isn't easy to go from parking ramp to room. Recommend parking on lower levels as the upper levels are often full. Desk help was friendly and helpful. It is very clean.

Room Tip: High room view was nice of city lights. Our room faced north on 9th floor and we could see the capi...

Overall the remodeling of the hotel successfully brought the guest rooms into modern times. The flat-panel TV is a good size for the room and the furniture and décor is modern and attractive. It is especially nice that all of the table and desk lamps have additional plug-ins at the base for laptops, cell chargers, etc. The wireless is very fast, despite the hotel being very full – even in the evenings when most people are likely using it. The bath amenities are better than most hotels I have stayed in. The room-service food is very good and reasonably priced and everyone on the staff is polite, friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, there are a few negatives: While the TV service is digital, they do not have HD channels and the glass-top desk is not conducive to using an optical mouse. For being remodeled it is not pleasant to see the black mold/mildew gunk in the corners and base of the shower/tub walls and on the shower curtain and most of the surfaces in the room were very dusty. Also, and I have to say I can usually sleep anywhere very easily, noise is a serious problem here as you can hear room doors open and slam shut all up and down the hallway, as well as water from floors above running down the pipes. That combined with the evening train horns make sleeping very difficult, despite the sleep number bed, which is a nice experience.

Hotel is located in the heart of Bismarck, ND. Not too far from the ND Capital or the Kirkwood Mall. Older hotel, but very comfortable and clean. Room was small but adequate for one person. Room had a Sleep Number bed which I not a fan of. The worst part of the bed were the pillows. Much too soft and there was not an alternative. Room temperate and water temperature were also very good. Room rate was higher than I expected to pay, however, hotel room space is scarse in Bismarck because the Oil and Natural Gas exploration nearby.

The best part of this trip was the Bellmen. The hotel provides a free shuttle to/from the Airpot, but if available, they will also take you around locally. Both drivers I dealt with were SUPER kind and helpful. Didn't mind paying the more expensive rate just based on the service both gentlemen provided with thier kindness and friendly approach.

Yes, I heard one train at 11PM. Normally a very light sleeper, but was able to get back to sleep after it passed thru town.

This is my 4th stay at this hotel over the last 12 months. The hotel is clean and neat and for the most part in good shape. New TV's in the rooms since last visit. I am not a big fan of the sleep number beds but they are comfortable. They have a nice lounge for cocktails and a blackjack table sponsored by a local nonprofit. Big pool area and a nice gym. And since you are downtown you can walk to some very cool restaurants i.e. Pirogue, Toasted Frog, Blarney Stone - all within 2 blocks.

So it aint the Ritz, but it's a nice, clean, safe hotel in downtown Bismarck with all the amenities you need.

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side can reduce the train noise

Has attached covered parking, nice restuarant and lounge. Heating and cooling unit is noisy. Beds are good and elevators work well. Has accpetable work out room.

Room Tip: Higher rooms have less street noise.

Radisson Hotel Bismarck

Good place to stay on short term business. Rooms are clean and up to date. Not enough electrical outlets for today's road warrior traveler but otherwise okay. Check in process can be slow because of only two computer stations at their front desk - depending on when you check in. Their sleep number beds are a positive plus. Also, their on premise restaurant is convenient but I find it over priced for all the competition from great Restaurants located nearby.  Nevertheless, I've stayed here many times over the years and will again and I will and have recommended it to others. Also, very friendly staff at the front desk and it is clean and decent - but old - its like stepping back into the 80s or 90s except for the beds and HD TV. I also like their free WIFI. I consider that a major plus.

The hotel is reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. We attended an onsite wedding this weekend. Appears that renovations are ongoing. Traveled with two adults and two kids, ages 9 & 7. Sleep number beds in the room were nice and comfortable. The sound of the trains all night long was less than enjoyable. Room had two queen beds and was very small. Closet was so small that our coats and clothes were getting caught in the door when we closed it. It was impossible for two people two move around the room at the same time much less four people. The room was clean, just to small. Pool area was nice and not crowded at all. Accomodations for the wedding were very nice. Food served at the wedding was just average. If you have a lot of luggage unload at the entrance before you park in the ramp. If you don't you will have to walk back to the hotel lobby to get a cart.
