This is one of the better hotels in Sunny Beach. Situated on the end of the boulevard, away from loud music and shops selling imitation branding clothes. The hotel is right on the beach and has a luxurious feeling. The rooms are big and very, very clean. In fact the whole hotel is cleaned on a daily basis. Food is good, but only point of criticism: I didn't like the big dining room. But hey I paid 450 euro for a week including flight and food, so can't really complain. The first night we had dinner in the a la carte restaurant Bulgari, very nice and much more intimate. Also included in the price.

Also try to eat out a couple of nights. The food is good and really cheap by Europian standards. Go to Nessebar, a beautiful and lovely town on the other side of the bay. Nicest way to travel is by boat which leaves every 30 minutes almost in front the hotel. And if you really want a unforgettable expericience book a room with seaview. You really see the sea and it's heaven.

Bulgaria surprised me in a very pleasant way, so I can recommened it to anybody. Hotel Majestic is a very good choice for your bulgarian expericience. Enjoy!

We have just returned from our first visit to Bulgaria where we stayed at the Majestic.

We loved every minute of our stay and could not fault the staff in any way. the whole hotel was kept spotless at all times and I found the reception staff very helpfull when ever I had need to ask for any advice.

The pool area is realy nice and the pool bar staff provided a great service.

The beach area is realy good with soft sand and plenty of room.

If there is a down side to the Majestic it is the poor standard of entertainment. But then you only have to go 10 minutes down the prom and there is plenty of it.

The only advice that I can give anyone going to Sunny Beach is STAY AWAY FROM THE RICKSHAWS. They rip everyone off, if you ask the cost of a trip they will quote you15 Levs but when you go to pay they insist on getting 50 Levs per person and they dont care how they get it. So please beware.

Large 700+ room hotel, well maintained hotel & grounds. dinning room alittle too small & very busy at breakfast. good food selection.Numerous friendly staff looking after the 2 huge pools & sunbeds, also sunbeds available on the beach, show your restaurant card and only pay 50%. Change money only at Crown money, what you see is what you get! Sea polluted, seaweed & jelly fish. Nights out: Juzhni Noshti, follow path past Helena hotel,
mediocre food but excellent show for free. Arizona Bar, good live band- Sound Forge. Vagabond's rear terrace overlooking bay for a final meal! Ferry to Nessebar 15 Lev, on pier at rear of hotel or bus 1 Lev on main road at front.
Take warm clothes for flight home, coldest plane we have ever been on & to protect you from the mosquito's who attack in force while you are queeing at the airport, neither was advised by our Thomson rep!

We have now stayed at the Majestic for the past 3 years and often wonder why folk would go anywhere else ??

The standard of accommodation and value for money is excellent in comparison to other European destinations. The beaches are stunning ! As for the Majestic ....WOW !! Location is fantastic as is the hotel reception area and of course the wonderfull Spa Centre. Rooms and communal pool, bar and leisure area's are kept spotless, the cleaners are even out scrubbing the slabs all day long!
I would recommend this hotel for families, couples or friends as the resort has plenty in it and is flat for pushing a buggy along the front strip.
Can't speak highly enough of our holidays in Bulgaia and it will be a long time before we return to Spain or the Canaries.... why would you when you have the Majestic on offer?

Stayed at the Majestic from May 30th until June 13th with my 3 year old daughter, partner, my sister and her partner also. We travelled with Thomson and i can honestly say it was possibly my best holiday to date! The Majestic itself is as it looks in the photos, very attractive and with a stunning outside seating and pool area. The inside of the hotel is nothing special but it is spotlessly clean and serves its purpose, to sleep in! Rooms are large, comfortable and are fully air conditioned which was a blessing come the second week of our holiday when temperatures soared well into the 30s.

We stayed half board and to be fair the food wasn't great but i have yet to eat fantasic food in any hotel i have ever stayed in the world over. Breakfast was quite a good choice with the usual breads fruits hams cheeses and a vast hot selection. Dinner on the other hand could sometimes be really good or not very good depending on the choice, but we always found something to eat and ate out a number of times so it wasn't really a big deal.

The staff in the Majestic were so helpful, nothing at all was too much effort for them. My sister initially was placed in a room on the 12th floor and as she isn't a great lover of heights so asked to be moved to a lower floor and was willing to pay extra for a sea view, but they moved her to a lower floor with a seaview completely free of charge no problem. The hotel is constantly being cleaned 24/7 round the clock so hygiene just isn't an issue.

The Thomson kids club was definately what made our holiday that bit better than any other. My daughter is 3 so was intitled to attend the tots club for 2 hours each day and she had the best time ever. The staff are truly dedicated to their jobs, arranging imaginative and exciting daily activities for the children to participate in, she had a ball and made loads of new friends.

Sunny Beach overall isn't the classsiest of resorts and there are some disgusting looking hotels along the promenade but most definately the Majestic is the best with the best location as its a little away from the madness that is sunny beach. Its also not as cheap as people make out to eat there, i found the prices only to be 2 thirds of perhaps what you would pay here. Theres so much more i could say about Sunny Beach but overall i loved it and would definately return!

4star infrastructure although this recently built hotel already showe signs of bad construction - Nice bar in the garden - Lots of space
3star food ...just OK in the big restaurant expect the juices (chemical substance rather than juice)
3star rooms ...average rooms, no service, no information on the desk
2-star service...no anticipation of customer needs...reception does not know where to find an ATM (there is one around the corner)...Putting a bill on a room requires lots of patience...We lost our lugagge...told reception...they told the taxi service bringing our luggage that we were not clients ...Lots of examples...Power cuts...
1-star 'The restaurant' horrible food, long wait, totally untrained personnel
Lots of my Bulgarian friends in Sofia advised me to avoid Sunny Beach in general (too many construction, cheap service)...they go to the North of Greece and get more quality, nicer service for the same price

We stayed at this hotel for a week in june 2007 and it was great. The restaurant was fine and it has a childrens corner which for us was a good thing as it served things like nuggetts chips etc which is what the kids like. The only thing is you do need to be up early to get a sunbed. But with having kids this is not a problem. The kids club was good and they did no what they were doing. All i can say is go with an open mind.
