This is a decent place to stay. It's easily accessible. I would give it a higher rating, but our AC struggled.
It did have a pool, which my teens loved, and our room was clean and comfortable. For the price, it's a not a bad place.

Management acknowledged the issue with our first room that smelled like pets had occupied. They were very accommodating and moved us to another room.
Limited choices for accommodations around this area.
Good "very local" cafe down the street for breakfast.

For $140 a night, this hotel in the Mormon town of Cardston, our jump-off town to Waterton Lakes National Park an hour away, could offer some basic amenities. Namely, hot running water, coffee or tea and non-plastic cups, a continental breakfast and rooms without food stains on carpet and furniture. (Since nearby food options are basically A&W, we don't know how there could even be food stains.) Cheap cheap cheap. Moderately helpful staff. Sadly, other local accommodations are no better. Mormon town so don't plan for a cold beer to numb your blues. Camp in Waterton instead, more luxurious.

We rode into Cardston at 3pm. Hotel looked nice, the front desk had lost our reservation but quickly repaired the situation. The coffee in the lobby was never hot. You had to put the coffee into the foam cups, take it to the room, put it in the plastic water cups and use the microwave to heat it up.
There is no continental breakfast, the A&W close by was down for renovations. We walked the main street and the only food place open was Dairy Queen.
When checking out we could not get a copy of the our bill. The printer did not function.
We motorcycled through very hot weather and were disappointed to find out that its a liquor free town.

We stayed here for a night on a trip from Glacier to Waterton Lakes. It's right on Main Street, and of course everything is walkable in this little town. Just a few steps from the Remington Carriage Museum, the Card home, the Mormon temple (which is really very impressive!). The hotel itself is comfortable, no-frills and informal. Beds are comfy, shower is hot and good pressure, the rooms are clean, AC is cool, price is reasonable. No complaints.
