Have to say I loved staying here. My wife had a weekend conference in a nearby retreat centre and I needed a place to stay. This motel had great reviews and I can see why! I stayed for 3 nights and was very happy. The price is awesome, the rooms are comfortable and the large bathroom with separate large tub and shower were a great surprise! The only drawback, and not worth a lower rating is that the building is a bit old and sound travels a bit between units. Not too bad but you can tell when someone nearby is moving around. This is a great motel to stay at! I would stay again if I am in the area!

On a trip from Vancouver to Calgary, we were looking for somewhere cheap to stay along the way. This was one of the most inexpensive options and it was right along the highway. Our expectations weren't high since we just needed a bed.

We had to check-in late so I called to make sure it was alright to check in around 1:00 AM. They were completely fine with it. When we arrived, both him and his wife got up to greet us and he showed us the room. The room was far beyond our expectations at the price point. The room was cozy, but definitely not too small. Everything was clean and the décor went right along with the cozy cabin theme. The only reason we had a hard time sleeping was because we were so excited at the value we got for the room! We had to be up at 6AM but we couldn't help but forfeit some sleep to have more time to enjoy the room.

We were up early and by no means expected anybody to be up when we dropped the key off (especially since we woke them up so late the night before to check-in), but of course there they were, ready to cook breakfast, make coffee, and help us out with anything else we need.

The owners were a couple of the nicest individuals I've met and the place was far beyond our expectations for the price point. We will definitely be back, whether it be making a pit-stop on our way through the Okanagan or even for a quiet weekend getaway. I wish the owners all the best!

Loved everything about Jade Mountain Motel. Owner operated by a friendly, hard-working couple and their employees. Clean, quaint, quiet rooms, great lake view, delicious cost effective breakfast, extremely reasonable deli and store prices. Recommend visiting the store, deli and motel!
