Very fanciful location made to look like an enchanted fairy castle. Even my husband who is an avid tea drinker raved about the coffee. A must stop in Nakusp.

This is the best place for lattes in Nakusp. The cafe has a lot of character and the owner remembers us when we come back on our visits to Nakusp.

I went for lunch one afternoon, and was informed that there was 1 only choice of sandwich available, and they had no soup left. Not a very good first impression!

A newer establishment in Nakusp. We were greeted by a young lady at the till who took our order pleasantly. Fresh ginger snap cookies were cooling on the back counter area (one of which made its way into a take out bag for me). Lunch was a golden asparagus soup with a grilled veg panini. The soup contained potato, asparagus and some other vegetables. Very hearty. The panini was on a sunflower type bread and contained cheddar cheese, mushrooms, peppers and some veggies. Felt homemade which, after eating out every meal the last few weeks, was so appreciated. My husband ate a turkey club with a chicken curry soup. He raved about both, which is impressive as he is less effusive about food than I. The decor included, obviously, a lot of fairy paraphernalia, but it didn't feel tacky. Keep it up, ladies. You have a great thing going on here.
