While Port Renfrew may never become the next Tofino that is not a bad thing. The Wild Renfrew Seaside Cottages are a great spot to experience the rugged and untamed beauty of Canada's West Coast free from the crowds and commercialization that may be found elsewhere. The Renfrew Pub, just a few steps away, has great food, more than just pub fare. Take the Pacific Marine Circle Drive and spend a couple of days exploring this great spot on the west side of Vancouver Island.

My husband and I stayed here for four wonderful nights. Comfortable beds, quiet setting, what more could you ask for!! The rooms have everything you need, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge, dishes, cutlery & glassware. We brought a few treats with us, bagels, croissants, hot chocolate, whip cream, kahlua to have while we sat back by our fire and for breakfasts. The pub just a few steps away has the most amazing food and a wonderful selection of beer. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We originally booked for three nights, but there was so much to see and explore we stayed an extra night so we could check out more of the area. We saw deer, fowl and even a bear( not in town) . They even have a crib board and cards in the room if thats your thing.

I stayed in a two bedroom seaside cottage with my three best friends this past weekend and can't say enough great things about the resort, pub, and staff! We ate both of our dinners and one breakfast at the pub - it has AMAZING food! We honestly ordered 8 orders of the fish tacos and I am still wishing I could have more. We decided to brave the rain and go for a (short) walk around Port Renfrew. We were spotted by one of our favorite new friends from the resort when we were walking back and he was kind enough to give us umbrellas from the resort lobby to keep us dry - exceptional customer service! We can't wait to plan our next trip back to this beautiful spot.

My girlfriends and I visited Port Renfew for a girls weekend away and we loved the Seaside Cottages. The cabins are the perfect mix of West Coast cedar cabin and modern amenities like stainless steel appliances. Our view was spectacular. The cabin was literally right at the edge of the ocean. What impressed us the most though were the owners of the resort. They were so sweet and lovely and made us feel right at home. At one point one of the owners actually drove up and offered us umbrellas during our coffee walk in the rain. If you go to Port Renfew you must stay here! I will definitely be back.

Room Tip: The best views!

We stayed in their suite that's situated on the warf, which gives a fabulous ocean view! The pub is a short stroll up the warf, talk about convenient! Port Renfrew gets you back to nature and staying at The Wild Renfrew makes the experience perfect! This property is a Gem. The cottages have amazing views too. You won't be disappointed.
