couldn't ask for more,very reasonable price specially i'm a worker,room is very decent and renovated,i'll stay here everytime I get back here unless they are fully booked,10/10

My husband and I stopped for one night on our back from our Alaska road trip. Smithers is a little pricey but this motel was on the lower end. The gentlemen at the front desk were extremely friendly (we had met one of them 2 weeks ago on our way to Alaska at the Florence motel also in Smithers). They gave us a room with a small kitchen and made sure that we were comfy which was the case. The kitchen was very nice because we could stock our food from our cooler and have a homemade meal rather than dine out. Despite being next to the road, the room was quiet. Wi-Fi was fast. Our only complaint was the beige bedding and towels which makes it hard to tell if there clean or not (probably the whole point...).

Thought this hotel looked kinda quaint and inviting. Chairs outside the doors, so you can look at view. The view we got to look at was a parking lot, and highway. The hotel has no air in the rooms, you have to open a window, which has no protection, no screen. So not a safe feeling, as well as not legal I do not think to have a window like this, and no air in the room. The room was clean. The blanket on top did smell a bit musty. The patrons staying here were noisy, walking above all night, outside, and in room. The one tenant opening the balcony door all night long, traffic noisy, especially if you have to open the window in room because it is stuffy, and no air. Too much drinking outside by patrons, looks bad. I will say though that the young lady who booked us in, was very nice, and gracious, a bit slow in checking us in, but friendly and helpful. In the summer time this hotel would be brutal with no A/C, no air.
