My 2 daughters and I along with our 2 dogs spent a wonderful weekend at Penguin Resort. Ken and Irene are very welcoming, warm and helpful hosts! Our cabin was very clean and well equipped. We appreciated the very comfortable beds and efforts made to keep the cabin fresh and up to date. We were also fortunate to be able to check in early and check out late as there were no bookings for our cabin immediately before or after our stay - thank you for this Irene and Ken :)

Our stay was amazing. Our cabin was very clean, cozy and we had a wonderful view of the lake. The owners were very friendly and very accommodating. We had an upgrade as soon as we checked in due to a cancelation. My husband and I have already booked in advanced to go back in September with our girls.

We spent one night at the Penguin Resort in June 2018 and we absolutely loved it! The owners, Ken and Irene, were warm and incredibly generous. We were allowed to check in several hours before 4 PM, basically as soon as the cabin was clean and ready. And since we stayed on a Saturday night and there were no new guests the next day, they allowed us to stay till Sunday supper time! This made our visit to Falcon Lake and West Hawk Lake so much more enjoyable as we didn't have to check out in the morning. The cabin was lovely and cozy with an electric fireplace, two bedrooms, a nice little kitchen and bathroom. Ken and Irene were very attentive, great hosts, and we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there next time we visit.

Well, I have been to many resorts and hotels and can count on one hand how many times my family and I were treated as well as we were treated while staying at Penguin Resort. From the moment we got there, we were treated like family.
Irene and Ken went out of their way many times over our 4 day stay to make sure that we had everything we needed and then some. From the cleanliness of the cabin to the top notch maintenance of the grounds to the fishing and genuine caring and friendliness. Penguin Resort was the highlight of my families summer and we will definitely be returning again next year. Lance and family.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The owners Irene and Ken are wonderful people, from the time we arrived we were treated like family. We stayed in a 1 bdrm cabin it was rustic but it had everything you could possibly need in a cabin. It is close to both westhawk lake and falcon lake and there are great hiking trails in the area. The beach is a stone's throw away from the cabins so it is very convenient especially to families with small kids. I would highly recommend staying here. I have already recommended to a.couple people. They have short term and longer term stays depending on what cabins are available. I'm not sure when my vacation will be next summer but if a cabin us available this is where you will find us.
