Beautiful home with an excellent breakfast

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Sep 14, 2015
What a beautiful home, comfortable rooms, beds and your own bathroom. We travelled with my parents around the East coast and made this one of our stops. We sat outside on the porch drinking wine as the sun set. The porch looks onto a little park. We walked downtown to the warf, ate a delicious fish dinner and joined the locals in dancing to live music outside by the waterfront....so much fun. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and well presented. Thank you to Sharon and her parents for your hospitality.

We booked our night at Regent Street B and B at the last minute while driving.
We'd never been in the area before and we're greeted so warmly, we knew we'd made a great choice.
We were given directions to a late night place to get dinner and then had a great sleep in a lovely and large room with a very good bed. The breakfast was ample and excellent, cooked to order. The place was so great we decided to spend an additional night.
The owners are lovely, friendly people who joined in the lively breakfast table talk with guests from different parts of the world.
We felt quite at home here.

My husband and stayed at this beautiful, charming BB a few weeks ago. We so enjoyed it.
Thrilled to have own bathroom! . The owner Sharon made sure we had access to a key in case we didn't arrive as scheduled. So very accommodating! The room was very clean and welcoming ! The breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again if we travel in that area again.

If you will be staying in the area of Miramichi and are looking for upscale and comfortable place to rest - this is the place! The B&B is actually in what was before Newcastle (now part of the "greater Miramichi"). This was an industrial town but this is mostly in its past so the area itself looks and feels like a run-down town in need of a new vocation. There are a few fast food and pubs at walking distance. The Bed and Breakfast is located above the industrial area on the main road where many large house are situated. The house has been renovated with great taste and while the outside grounds and facade is very nice, the interior is even more nice. Nicely decorated, comfortable and and much style - I loved it. Nice garden if you want to relax outside. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was copious and really excellent !! If you are in the region, worth stopping for a restful night. Great value for the price.

Two of us stayed at this B&B for one night. We were warmly welcomed by Sharon, the do-it-all owner, and she showed us to our room. The building is nicely maintained and tastefully decorated, with lots of intricate wood trim all around. The room (Sarah's) was spacious, with one king size bed and a comfortable sofa bed if needed. The internet wi-fi worked and was very fast. The B&B is close to a few nice restaurants downtown so the location is convenient. Breakfast was made by Sharon and delicious and filling. This place offered everything I would ever ask for from a B&B. I would stay there again, without a doubt, especially for such a low price.

A beautiful old house, spacious bedroom (Sarah's room) with its own sitting area and an excellent breakfast. A charming and warm welcome from our host Sharon, who really made us feel at home. Just what we want from a B&B. Strongly recommended.
