Hoped to have a stay and dine experience but the dining room has closed but nothing updated on the site. However, the Inn still operates as if it too is getting ready to close - the for sale sign out front is a dead giveaway...all that said, our premium room was superb and the breakfast served in the morning was lovely. We did see another room and were so happy we booked the one we did. The look on the faces of couple staying in the other room was funny when they saw our room. The warmth, character, luxury and welcoming environment you would expect from a large, stately inn is not there but maybe with new owners devoting their time will do the trick and bring back the potential glory!
