This B&bB is fabulous in every way. The lady at reception is very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and very nicely decorated. We had dinner in the restaurant and both the food and service were excellent. The food is very fresh and mostly produced on the property. ( You can see the vegetable garden from the rstaurant). I was able to connect to the Internet in our room and had no trouble with it.

Peggy & John Fisher have created a very nice place to get away from it all !!! The view of the ocean & coastline is so pretty, their fitness center is the Skerwink Trail, a must do !!! Their first class attitude certainly shows throughout their whole operation from their location with the view, the way they've designed the homes and furniture through to their warm & freindly staff that deliver great service and awesome food !!! Thanks Peggy & all the great staff, we've really enjoyed our second visit & we'll be back !!!

We had four nights at Fishers' Loft Inn. A week would be better. Well set with views over tiny Port Rexton, the buildings are new but true (externally) to Newfoundland heritage. There are comfortable common areas. There are terrific walks. Then there is the restaurant! In a little place like this one might not expect real gourmet fare, but here it is. As far as possible, all the ingredients are local, many grown in the Inn's own garden. The cod was memorable, the halibut excellent and the blueberry pie just heaven. The staff are locals, too, and very charming and helpful.

We stayed in the Mansard house, Very lovely room, with a fair matress and noise did travel from rooms around and under. Receptionist plesant but did not appear to know, surrondings or places to recommend to eat other than their inn. This is a well run business that lacked traditional NFLD warmth

Room tip: Maybe room on the hill

This inn was a splurge, and I'm really glad we spent a bit more. The experience here was amazing! The setting was like a fairy tale -- exactly how I pictured the outport communities to look. We often sat outside and watched the ocean. I spotted harbour porpoises from a nearby cliff! The other great thing about the inn was the food. Dinner was delicious but a little expensive for us (we were on a budget), but breakfasts were amazing. They even had gluten-free alternatives. The service was also amazing. We never wanted to leave!

Room tip: I would ask for a room looking down the hill towards the ocean. The view made this place!
