Baddeck Forks Golf Course

course is very well kept and the restaurant is very good and friendly staff too! the restaurant is open weekends in the winter to cater to snowmobilers with trails leading to it. Local people are regulars here which speaks volumes for how good the food is.

Baddeck falls is a nice little course about 10k from Baddeck. There are a couple of tricky holes in particular a long very narrow par 5. The course boasts a fine new club house with a very above average restaurant designed for golfers. The owners have put in a great deal of effort in improving the course and Loretta (one of the owners) said more improvements are being planned. It s not a championship course but for the money is pretty good value. The greens are a bit small and when we played were quite soft. Very friendly owners. Make sure you take bug spray.

My husband wanted to play golf but we only had a short time. He found this great course that only has nine holes, perfect. All the staff was friendly, course was in good condition, even had a couple par 5 holes, clubhouse was very nice along with the restaurant, price was good and they had great shirts. Give it a try and the second 8 holes is only $10.

Went up to the family farm in cape breton for vacation and wanted to play a little golf. They had a tough winter so i wasn't expecting much as far as course conditions. Played Bell Bay and Cabot Links, great courses but because of winter were still rebounding. Found Baddeck forks and wanted to play a quick 9, wow, the conditions of the greens were perfect. What a great little course, if you get a chance, stop by and play it. Just don't forget the bug spray.

If you haven't played this little gem of a course in the last couple of years it's time to head out and give it a try. Having already playing the course twice this year it is truly amazing what Darren and Loretta have done to upgrade again this year. The short rough and fairways are well defined this year. There has been more clearing and additional drainage added this year. Even the addition of new flags and more ball washers has made this year's opening a real pleasure. The clubhouse and restaurant, like always, are warm and inviting. The entire staff make you feel welcome and everyone is treated like a member. With all the other courses in the area unfortunately receiving so much winter damage it's a great time to try out the Forks. You will not be disappointed.
