We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, everything was cooked to our liking. Staff was friendly and the restraint was clean and the service was prompt. All in all a great little place to grab breakfast overlooking the water.

We went for breakfast, nice little place. I liked my meal, my husband's eggs weren't how he asked for them, but overall, the food was fresh and tasty.

We read on TA how good the chowder was, so decided to give it a try
Unlike most of the chowders we have had it was not drowned with cream and there was a lot of fish. I felt there was a little too much potato and, whilst tasty, the soup could have had a bit more substance. Nevertheless we thoroughly enjoyed it, The house Chardonnay was good too.
I did find it a little strange to pay for the meal, including service, before it had been served. As it turned out both the meal and service were well worth the cost

We stopped in at the Happy Clam with our minds set on lobster rolls for an early supper.
The young lad who served us at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. We were served up what I consider the best lobster rolls we have yet had.
They were so good we picked up a couple for the road two days later when we headed out to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Try the Happy Clam for lobster rolls. I am sure the other items are just as good.
