We recently spent a night here while on a trip around the Cabot Trail. Brent and Ophelia were friendly and accommodating .. nothing was too much trouble. The home is situated on a beautiful piece of land and we enjoyed sitting outside and observing the squirrels, rabbits, birds, etc going about their daily routines. Our room (Love) was very cozy and absolutely spotless (as was the whole home), and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyed in a lovely glassed in room and beautifully prepared and presented by Ophelia. She even packed us a "snack bag" for the road, which was a nice touch and very appreciated. This couple has given a lot of thought to creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, and it shows ... I highly recommend a stay here and would certainly return. I wish them well ....
20 Acre Woods is a newly renovated B&B, which is clean, well decorated and comfortable. We had a fantastic sleep in the king-sized bed.
Breakfast was both delicious and satisfying, keeping us full right through until supper. Brent and Ophelia not only kept us well fed, but really took the time to get to know us, which made the stay all the more special.
It’s a great location for exploring the National Park and surrounding area, so if you’re planning a stay in the Ingonish area, then you won’t find a better place to stay than 20 Acre Woods B&B.

Lovely home, very clean and beautifully detailed. Comfy beds and quiet location. Host's were very welcoming and we felt like family. Even got to meet their fur baby. Highly recommend. Breakfast was amazing!
The hosts are very friendly and genuinely great people. They greeted us, showed us around, and kept things fun during breakfast. The B&B is beautiful, sparkling clean, just off the Cabot Trail, with great views and a serene setting. My husband and I stayed in the king suite with spa tub and found it super spacious and luxurious. It provided a perfectly romantic and restful evening for us after a big day of adventures. Breakfast was hearty with my something for everyone (yogurt and fruit, toast, egg bake and sausage, juice, coffee and tea). The hosts have also taken special care to manage COVID, even expanding their breakfast area into a beautiful sun room. I cannot recommend this place more!

Brent and Ophelia offer a warm establishment in a silvan setting in the community of North Bay, Ingonish. Our stay with them was accentuated by their high quality, creatively prepared breakfasts and comfortable bedrooms. Ophelia’s ease of sharing her culinary secrets is an added positive touch. We were appreciative that during our three day stay they provided us with their knowledge of the community, the hiking trails, and the Cabot Trail.
