Their beautiful wine tasting room run by polite, knowledgeable staff. Their wines that we tasted were excellent; we especially were impressed by their Tidal Bay and Muscat selections. A short walk through their vineyard leads you to an overlook of the Grand Pre site. A worthwhile stop for wine aficionados if you are touring the area.

Of the four wineries we visited around Wolfville, this was the one with the most maturity and the setting was beautiful. We enjoyed some tastings, made a purchase and walked out to the viewing park towards the UNESCO world heritage site of Grand Pre. Wine and heritage - a wonderful combination!

We were met from the bus with very friendly, knowledgeable staff for our wine testing. It was here that I tried my favourite wine wine of the day (Canada 150). This winery had a trail through the vineyards to an amazing look off. This place had a great charm about it and I could have certainly spent more than an hour here.

It was also spotlessly clean and the gardens immaculate. For me...this was my favorite winery of the day!

My wife and I visited the Winery on a late Friday afternoon before our dinner reservations at Le CaVeau.
We tasted a 6 wine flight of whites, reds and a bubbly along with a couple others.
Our favorites where the Tidal Bay White and the Vidal Icewine.
And yes, we just had to bring some of both home! We did enjoy a bottle of Tidal Bay back at our B&B.
Our server was very informative and enthusiastic while explaining each wine as we tasted it along with it's history.
We really enjoyed the Grand Pre Winery and highly recommend spending some nice relaxing time there.
You'll enjoy it!

We just did the wine tasting in the tasting room. There is a nice lunch spot right up the hill on their property.

We had a charming server who was capable of discussing the history of the wines. We had a "regular flight of tastes", that consisted of white, red and a bubbly. $8 CND that we shared since we were driving. Another couple was right next to us and did the same. We found out no one in either party really cared for whites so we all just had various reds and the bubbly. How wonderful for us. We all talked and laughed and decided it didn't matter how much it costs it is all about the taste for you. Our server shared something about each and poured enough in the tastes that you could really have enough to taste, repeat, ponder, repeat etc.

Glad we stopped for about an hour to enjoy the grounds and to taste the wines. It wasn't busy when we popped in around lunch time on a Thursday in Aug. We felt welcomed.

Thank SDPadres
