We stayed for three nights in the spacious studio suite, up a flight of stairs, on the edge of this small seaside town. There are also several large bedrooms, more of a b&b style.

Mahone Bay offers gentle cycling trails, old railway lines with the tracks long removed, and due care given to hikers and cyclists. We cycled to Lunenburg and back, and to Marten's River and back. The Kitch'inn is just down the street from the trails, and just up the street from the Saltbox, a new craft brewery.

There is much to soak in here, to enjoy, and to take life as it comes.

I just stayed at the Kitch'inn for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Danielle and Greg are lovely, welcoming and helpful hosts; the breakfasts are delicious, substantial, and creative; my room was spacious, spotlessly clean, with modern, relaxing decor; the location is ideal with a short walk to the centre of Mahone Bay and all the shops and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We totally lucked in when we were able to get a reservation, last minute, at the Kitch'inn. This is a beautifully renovated property. Our room was large, airy and bright and beautifully furnished. Out 2 large windows overlooked the gardens and although the house is on a busy street, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was a treat! This is the first time we shared a table and conversation was lively and a lot of fun. The food was amazing! We will return!

Room Tip: I can only comment on our room, 3, which was lovely.

My wife and I spent two most enjoyable nights at this charming B&B. The place is spotlessly clean, rooms are spacious and well equipped. Danielle is a super hostess, and her breakfasts were innovative, and enjoyable. Thank you for the Bacon Waffles, and the “Newfoundland Style” fish cakes.

Restaurants and shops are within a short walk from this location. We highly recommend this B&B

As soon as we drove into Mahone Bay, I fell in love — and when we arrived at the Kitch’inn, I found new friends. Danielle and Greg have created the perfect place to welcome guests. This is not your grandmother’s B&B! Danielle’s artistic style is displayed throughout the Inn through the decor, amazing breakfasts, and of course the art gallery. The attention to detail is incredible. I can’t thank them enough for making our stay so special. Our 13 year old son is already planning our next vacation to return for a longer stay!
