Absolutely loved this place. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. We had a lovely room with adjoining bathroom (each room has its own) and it was clean with a comfortable bed. Joanna and Chris are very friendly hosts who gave us some great recommendations on places to go in the area. Breakfast was wonderful and the coffee was some of the best we have ever had and a good cup of coffee is great to get your day started on the right foot. Fantastic scenery in the area and Mahone Bay is a lovely quaint village. Do yourself a favour and stop into the local museum. It is free and there is lots of information about the area. Highly recommend this B&B. We even saw deer directly on the property!

Lovely hosts, fabulous breakfasts, room very clean with small fridge and coffee maker just outside your door. Close to restaurants and great attractions. We happen to be there during VERY unusual hot spell. Ceiling fan and floor fan helped, AC would have made it perfect. Over all nice central location for Lunenburg, Peggy Cove etc.

Room Tip: Try for easterly room..

Let me tell you, I got very, VERY lucky. There was not a single room available from Bedford to Liverpool -- it was a holiday weekend and I needed a place to stay the night before the world famous Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival which I have learned is ALWAYS the first Sunday of August. I phoned the local tourist bureau and I was given contact information for the Bayview Pines, who had a last minute cancellation.

This is a gorgeous property with beautiful grounds and gardens and even access to the bay. My room had a queen bed and a single. There was a deck just outside my room where I could sit and enjoy the evening. Everything was pristinely clean, and there were coffee makers, filtered water, refrigerators and stemware available for whatever your need.

The owners, Chris and Joanna, are welcoming and gracious. Morning breakfast was beautifully presented on china, tea cozies keeping the tea warm -- a wonderful way to start the day. Next year, I will book this property well in advance!! I got very, very lucky this year, indeed!

Room Tip: When you reserve, tell Chris and Joanna your needs.

Lovely view of the bay, quiet, pastoral location but so convenient to restaurants & downtown! The Inn itself is sparkling clean, bright & cheerful & Joanne & Chris could not be more welcoming! Especially when they serve that amazing gourmet breakfast each morning. We had a wonderful time & enjoyed just relaxing with wine in the common quarters where other guests gathered. We will be back for sure ASAP!

Joanna & Chris made us feel very welcome at their lovely Inn on the beautiful Mahone Bay. We had a room in the main house, which was very comfortable, it also had a view of part of the bay. The breakfasts were good, and nothing was too much trouble.
