Just recently returned from our annual girlfriend get together and have nothing but positive feedback! The rooms are super clean and spacious, the kitchenette is fully equipped and the beds are so comfortable. We had our own private deck equipped with a BBQ, patio table & chairs. The establishment is peaceful and relaxing and a short drive to Bayfield. The owners are accommodating and friendly...overall a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Bayfield South Suites.

Stayed here for one night while attending a wedding and was all around impressed with the room and the staff. We arrived with not much time to get ready and get to the ceremony. We asked the front desk if we could get a cab and the owner volunteered to drive us, as the nearest cabs are in the next city. They even offered to pick us up afterwards! They clearly care about their guests and this kind of service is few and far between. The motel itself was clean, cozy and perfect for what we needed. As first timers to the area, we will definitely be back!

We stayed here as guests and loved it. Immaculate, spacious, friendly and welcoming to well-behaved pooches. Now that we live here, we tell all friends & family THIS is the spot. Kitchenette is awesome. Hosts are old-school fabulous.

Stay was for 2 nights and we had 3 rooms booked together. This is a very small motel and the owners always appeared to be onsite to answer any questions. They allowed us to have out dogs stay with us and in that area, there are not many places that allowed that. There is a common sitting area outside, bbq's for use, a good size pool and surprisingly not much highway noise. Would recommend if passing through the area.

It's difficult to write about awesome. This blue cottage with its private view of lake Huron was breath taking. We could of sat watching a sail boat or birds flying from one tree to the other. The cottage is 2 floors with the largest master bedroom and awesome view of the lake. We could of stated there all day. There were 2 other bedrooms upstairs and 1 more bedroom downstairs along with the kitchen, dinning room and living room. A.C. and a recently installed gas stove. Large flat screen t.v. all you needed was towels and food. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Now after this review I will never get to stay there because it will always be booked. Please don't forget us...we want to come back
