If u have been at The Ashwood before u would know that u would have access to private beach .... well bc of “Covid “ it’s not available anymore even though when asked a month ago and I precisely asked if private beach was open they said yes.... but supposedly I miss understood .and check in at 4:00 ( bc of Covid)not 3 not like my email receipt said and pool only for an hour. Not worth spending the money might as well go to cheaper hotel .... less service same price

We stayed in a family room at the Inn. The room had one queen size bed downstairs, and a small loft with two double size beds. We were on the main floor and our mattress was perfect. The loft had one hard and one softer mattress. No one complained about the upper floor mattresses so I assume they were great. The pillows were foam and I would bring my own pillows if I visited again. The pillows were hard and not very comfortable. Also the pillow cases barely covered the pillows. I would recommend the inn get larger pillow cases.
You can hear anyone talking in the hallway quite clearly inside the suite. It would be nice if there was some type of white noise in the room. We tried leaving the bathroom fan on at night but it was pretty noisy so we had to turn it off.
Aside from this, the people at the front desk were wonderful; very friendly and welcoming.The room was clean, and ready when we arrived an hour early. There was a nice swimming pool, great for children and adults. The room had a coffee table and four chairs so we could play games there at night. The upstairs has a sink but no second bathroom.
There is a restaurant attached to the hotel but not affiliated with it. The food there was great and the waiter we had was fantastic.
