I don’t know where to begin. I never write reviews and just want to give a shout out to this place and the amazing staff!!! My girlfriend and I came here, September 30th around noon and had one of the best lunches we’ve had in a long time. We dine out a couple times a week and this is going to be a repeat spot for sure. Monika the server had all the right recommendations and I’m so thankful for her!! We started with two Caesars to drink (we drink Caesar’s everywhere we go and this was delicious-we didn’t have the pepperoncini infused vodka just regular) and it was delicious-many great garnishes, and the mussels (best mussels I’ve had in a long time)-ate them all up! With delicious garlic bread that comes with it. Then we got the classic burger with cheese bacon and mushrooms as add ons and the duck fat fries-ate every bit!! So good!!! We also had the rocket popsicle and espresso martini. Martini was delicious and the rocket popsicle was so good! I don’t like sweet drinks, I like more sour and this was exactly what I wanted! We sat on the patio on this beautiful day. Washrooms we’re clean and smelled nice :). Everything was perfect!!! Can’t wait to come back!! Worth the long drive for sure. Thank you so much BVR and specifically Monika 😊 we’ll be back!!
Excellent food. Hard to decide what to have. Went for lunch had some great cocktails. Best onions rings I’ve ever had. Fish and chips were great as was the beef. Parking right next door which is how we found it. Will be back!
We went on a weekday for a late lunch with 7 friends. Their patio is very comfortable, lots of shade by 1:00 p.m.
The server had no problem doing separate bills for our group. Their lunches were a fair price, anywhere from $16-20.
Their fish and chips were excellent, penne pasta delicious and their sticky toffee pudding dessert was excellent.
My only criticism is their beer was not cold enough, we all had a different brand of drought, and we all agreed that we wished it was colder. Wine drinkers were happy with their drinks, and all prices of drinks were reasonable.
The server was efficient, friendly and knew the menu well, and was able to help us with our food choices.
We definitely would recommend it to our friends.
We ordered food for lunch at my workplace. There is no presentation in the food, it has no visual appeal. I got the salmon and fries with coleslaw, it tasted very mediocre. I do not think I would go back to eat here.
