An absolutely lovely stay on Labour Day. Beautiful gardens and pool area to relax, spotless home, comfy bed, fresh flowers. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful, and presented so pretty it was a shame to eat it! Definetly will stay again! Thanks Pat and Dave for such a welcoming place to stay.

Girl getaway and we loved it. Patricia & Dave make you feel like family the minute you enter their immaculate, interesting home. Beautiful decor, spacious rooms, fantastic pool and surrounding gardens. So relaxing. Pictures on the site are as they seem! Quick walking distance(5 mins) to the downtown core of Perth for shopping & eating establishments. In town but felt very private beside the river. Formal dining room presentation for the fabulous breakfast! So accommodating, cannot think of one thing we needed or wanted! They had it all covered! Will go back in a minute!

We traveled to Perth by boat on the Tay canal, and tied up overnight in the turning basin.

It is a short walk from the basin to the B&B, although be warned that you will only be able to get small boats into the basin as there are a number of very low clearance bridges on the way. I can't remember the height, but one was certainly less than 6'. The owners did warn us about this, and said to call them if we ended up docking short of the basin so they could pick us up.

The B&B itself is a nice mixture of old and new. It has all the character of an older victorian house, but has been nicely renovated. The pool was also nice to relax in, as it was another hot day when we were there.

Breakfast was superb.

It was a really lovely stay.

The Drummond House was exactly as advertised, the Drummond Suite with its enormous bathroom very comfortable. Patricia and David were excellent hosts. The breakfast was delicious and filling. We didn't swim in the pool, due to time constraints, but the setting of it was beautiful, surrounded by colourful flowers of several varieties. The town of Perth is like stepping back in time, with many historic buildings and a breathtaking park one block off of the downtown area. The townspeople were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return!

Room Tip: The ensuite bathroom in the Drummond Suite for some serious tub time!

The B&B is wonderful. Pat and Dave were wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were outstanding and it filled you up until almost dinner time. We stayed in the Tayside Suite for almost the whole time and enjoyed the luxury. Can walk everywhere from there and only needed the car when heading out of town. Will come back!
