The theatre has some fantastic shows there! It's a little quaint theatre! You must visit the town of Port Hope. It's a beautiful historical area on the ganaraska river!

We have been to four musicals over the last years and every one of them was fantastic! It's an historic theatre, and the ambiance is wonderful. The singing was top notch, the choreography truly professional and the staging excellent.
I would highly recommend this theatre and for any musical production, they match any big city performance!

We went to see the "Naughty "Panto Snow White in December. We were a group of 7 between 23 and 57 years of age. We all loved this show. This is the third Panto we have been to at the Capital Theatre and we have loved them all.
There is not a bad seat in the house.
It is nice that you can get a beverage either alcoholic or not before the show and also during intermission.
One thing I will suggest is if you know you want a drink during intermission buy the tickets before the show as then you only have ever to get into 1 line during intermission

It's a great little theatre, one of the few remaining 'atmospheric' theaters in North America. Good sized stage, very good sound system and projection effects. We go every year for the Christmas pantomime. This year we saw the adult or 'naughty' version Snow White panto, it was excellent, very funny and entertaining.

Great theatre company in a great location. The modern (adult) version of Snow White is very funny. Highly recommended.
