We stayed at the guest house for two nights. Ate dinner at the Serendipity both nights. Great and Great. Delicious dinners. Great prime rib. Cozy rooms with all the amenities. Train tracks were nearby and the sound of the train whistle at night was wonderful. Loved it all Walked down to the wharf each morning. Beautiful views of the island. The guest house has a wooden patio with a walkway that allows you to have a drink and look at the harbour. Did that too. Excellent stay. Second time here and we will book again.

We loved the Serendipity. It is a quaint little place with a surprisingly wide variety of choices on the menu. We ordered the fresh caught trout and the chicken with greek salad. The portions were huge and very flavorful. The wait staff were friendly and service was fast. Because it's so small, reservations are recommended. We'd definitely go back.

We stayed in Rossport for two nights this fall while driving around Lake Superior. This was one of two really excellent restaurants along our route, which is a good thing because it seems to be the only restaurant in Rossport. Being a fish lover I ordered the fresh Lake Trout and it was probably the best I've ever eaten, bar none. The portions are huge! Unless you're a really big eater one plate could easily feed two people. A little on the pricey side but the quality of the meals makes it worth it. Recommended!

This place had great service, great food, and a funky artistic atmosphere. The view is wonderful as well. If you can, you must stop here.

Late lunch here was a real pleasure. Relaxed but attentive service, large salads (alongside well done luncheon entrees) and immense desserts -- big enough to split for two or three (and amazingly indulgent to have one mud-bottom coffee ice cream pie to oneself!). The word is out that Cafe Serendipity is a well-deserved spot to have a nice meal.
